#1: Gray Mixed Toned Subway Tile
Our goal at this project is to add some color to make it POP to give the space some personality. We searched high and low and finally settled on this gray subway tile that added just the right amount of dimension and texture. We loved how it didn’t overpower the room but still made a statement.
To make the backsplash really stand out, we even took it all the way up to the ceiling and out to the dining table wall. The result was a polished and cohesive look that we absolutely love! So, if you’re in a similar predicament with your white kitchen, don’t be afraid to consider a gray subway tile backsplash to add some character to your space.
#2: White Hexagon Backsplash

We loved using hexagon tiles for this kitchen renovation project because we wanted to bring a natural feel to the space.
Hexagon tiles have a unique shape that adds some interest and can give you those nature feels since hexagons are a common shape found in nature (think honeycombs!).
The hexagon tiles were such a hit that we’ve used them in multiple projects since then.
#3 Honed Marble Herringbone

For this kitchen backsplash, we aimed to add a bold pop of color to the space, we selected a marble tile backsplash with beautiful blue hues. This backsplash served as the focal point of the room, with the unique color providing a stunning contrast to the other elements of the kitchen.
To take the color scheme to the next level, we painted the island in this super trendy shade called ‘Cheating Heart’ by Benjamin Moore. The color totally connected with the beautiful blue hues of the backsplash and brought the whole kitchen together. The marble tile is seriously drool-worthy – it adds a pop of color and texture that makes the space totally stand out. It’s one of the first things people notice when they walk in the room! Plus, the dimension it brings to the space makes it even more visually appealing. We’re obsessed with how the island and backsplash came together to create such a stunning feature in the kitchen.
#4 Rustico Glossy White Subway Tile

This kitchen renovation project aimed to preserve the timeless charm of a 1915 house without overpowering its existing character. Our goal was to enhance the kitchen’s existing features by adding subtle accents that complemented its original style. We achieved this by opting for a classic and timeless look that blended seamlessly with the house’s overall aesthetic.
One of the key design elements was tiling the kitchen up to the ceiling, which not only added character but also provided a functional and easy-to-clean backsplash. By keeping the renovation simple and understated, we were able to create a kitchen that maintained the house’s original character while adding just the right amount of charm to make it feel fresh and modern.
