Our client's bathroom remodel in a
St. Paul home had plenty of space but little intention. The oversized layout felt awkward, the painted oak floors weren’t holding up after daily use, and the shower lacked both function and comfort.
The goal was to create a bathroom that worked for their daily life — durable where it needed to be, thoughtfully laid out, and designed to be reflective
of the family who used it.
From the start, our client knew they wanted a space that felt grounded in nature and true to their historic home. They were drawn to rich, organic textures, earthy greens, and materials that felt collected rather than overly polished. We loved the idea of a botanical wallpaper as a way to bring the outdoors in and add depth without overwhelming the space. Warm wood tones, bold tile flooring to replace the painted oak, and finishes that felt personal and lived-in complimented the design. The goal was a space that felt connected to the rest of their home, full of personality, and designed for how their family actually uses it every day.
