Lake Street was a full-home remodel designed to bring continuity, function, and personality to a house that had great potential but needed a thoughtful update. We installed new flooring throughout so every room finally felt connected, reworked the kitchen layout for better flow, and introduced bold hardware and lighting that matched the homeowners’ style.
Upstairs, we combined two bedrooms to create a true primary suite with a spacious bathroom – something the home had always deserved. The main-floor powder room got a fresh, cohesive update, and the basement was fully finished to include a cozy living room, a wet bar made for hosting, and a new Jack-and-Jill bathroom for the kids. The sunroom was painted a deep, natural green to bring the outdoors in and give the home a warm, welcoming moment.
Our vision for Lake Street was to create a home that felt modern and cohesive, while still warm and approachable. The kitchen became the anchor, rich wood cabinetry, green tile, and black accents brought in personality without overwhelming the space. The new primary suite was designed to feel like a daily retreat, not just a remodel checked off the list.
Family life drove every decision. A finished basement meant space for hanging out, sleepovers, snacks at the wet bar, and room for memories to unfold. The sunroom connected the home to the surrounding landscape, reinforcing that sense of calm and comfort. Throughout the house, we aimed for classic where it matters and fun where it counts — a balance that reflects the way this family lives.
