Before the renovation, this bathroom felt tight and under-sized, with a vanity that provided almost no storage and a layout that limited how the space could function. It was meant to be their daughter’s bathroom, but it didn’t reflect her personality or offer the room she needed as she grew. By expanding two feet into the adjacent office, we were able to give the bathroom the breathing room it lacked and create space for a larger vanity, better flow, and a layout that could support a fun, colorful, and truly custom design.
The vision for this bathroom was to give their daughter a space that felt joyful, colorful, and totally her own. They wanted a bigger vanity for everyday use, better lighting, and room to move comfortably without the layout feeling cramped. And color and pattern were a big part of the dream. The scalloped tile became the heart of the design – playful, ocean-inspired, and full of movement – while the soft blue walls and brass fixtures kept everything feeling warm and polished.
