This family came to us after discovering a leak in their basement bathroom and quickly realized it was the right moment to reimagine the entire lower level. Their existing 1,000 sq. ft. basement had been finished roughly twenty years ago, and the layout no longer worked for their family, including mom, dad, kids, and a very important cat. The goal was to upgrade everything: expand the bathroom to include a tiled walk-in shower, add a functional wet bar, improve storage, and optimize the flow so the basement felt more connected, organized, and inviting. What began as a repair turned into an opportunity to rebuild the space in a way that truly supports how their family lives today.
